Start with the actual difficulty
A student who cannot start an equation needs different help from someone checking a finished solution. Identify whether you need a hint, a clear explanation, practice questions or a check of your own work.
A short trial you can run
Use a question whose answer you already know: solve 2(x + 3) = 14. Ask for one hint at a time. A useful explanation should lead you to x = 4 and let you check by substitution. Then try a similar question without help.
Compare what matters
- Does it explain why each step works?
- Can you request hints instead of receiving a full solution immediately?
- Does the explanation match your course method and reading level?
- Are age, regional, school and account requirements suitable for you?
- Can you clearly understand the plan, price and cancellation terms before paying?
Use answers responsibly
